On this double page there is an equal amount of text as there is images. This is because both are being given equal importance to each other. It is also because the image is there just to accompany the text so both together are able to tell a story and a narrative. The title takes up around a third of a page this is emphasised by the use of red colour in the word 'brother' within the title. The colour red has connotations of both love and danger. This use of colour goes with the contents text as the main article is speaking about their love for Mitch Lucker and their sadness and anger at his death. The red and white used in the title also contrasts with the black background to make it standout even more.
There is one larger image accompanied by many smaller images. These smaller images have been used as each of the images is able to convey a different meaning and story then the other. All the smaller images together tell one huge narrative. Some of the images contrast with one another as some images show people smiling and happy whilst some of the images show sadness and anger. These are able to accompany the contents to form a narrative of the band member, Mitch's, life. the smaller images all overlap each other, this means that very little of the background is visible.
The language used is very formal suggesting the target audience might be to those older and more intellectual readers and fans rather then young kids. The audience are not being spoken to directly creating a very relaxed tone which makes the reader think about what they are reading. This creates a positive representation of rock music and makes it seem as if more intellectual rather then the bad representations which portray rock music as just being negative and silly.
