Kerrang! Contents

Kerrang! Contents

The image takes up most of the amount of space on this page. This is given importance as it is what is able to get the audiences attention the best. The image is also able to add some excitement on to the page rather then there being just text.  The image is used to get our attention rather then the readers just skipping the page as they would in most magazines.

The image is located towards the left hand side this is so that some of the focus is still given to the writing as the text is important on the page. The fact that the image is located here also means the contents page has more of a structure rather then it just being to over detailed or cluttered. The image used of the and has been taken in a medium shot so shows the band from the hips up. This shot is good as it is able to show their body language  as being quite relaxed and normal. This portrays the magazine well as it creates more of a happy feeling then a angry feeling which is usually associated with the genre of rock music. The band are dressed very casually which means people looking at the magazine may be able to relate to the people more as they realise they are normal everyday people. The colours used are quite dark which conveys a very mysterious feeling to the magazine.

The text used in this contents page are mostly to titles of articles from within the contents of the magazine. The main information is being highlighted by the use of bold writing. Smaller writing is then used to give us some less important information about the contents of certain articles.
